This hybrid role blends traditional system administration, hands-on system engineering, and cloud/DevOps responsibilities. You will manage and optimise IT infrastructure, deploy and maintain custom-developed systems at client sites, and ensure high availability, security, and performance of all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and optimise internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.

  • Deploy, configure, and support in-house developed systems at client locations.

  • Architect and implement scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and on-prem stacks.

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows (Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools).

  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

  • Maintain and improve reliability metrics, uptime SLAs, and incident response processes.

  • Implement and maintain robust IT security practices, including patch management, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.

  • Collaborate with developers to containerise workloads and optimise system performance (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).

  • Document systems, architecture, runbooks, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.

  • Continuously identify improvements, standardise tooling, and mentor teammates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, System Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role (≈3+ years).

  • Strong command of Linux and Windows Server environments.

  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

  • Solid understanding of networking (VPNs, VPCs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and clear communication.

Additional Qualifications (A Plus):

  • Kubernetes administration (EKS, AKS, self-managed) and Helm.

  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management tools.

  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).

  • Cost optimisation and FinOps experience.

  • Participation in on-call rotations for 24 × 7 environments.

Why Join INECTIO:

  • Competitive salary and benefits aligned with experience and local market.

  • Choice of hardware plus annual training and certification budget.

  • Direct impact on diverse, high-traffic products and client systems.

  • Collaborative, ego-free culture that values craftsmanship and work-life balance.

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, both on-prem and cloud.
